No problem I was just wondering if it is wise to rebuild the auto transmission on my 2001 outback limited.. 156,000 mi its in amazing shape new cat converters, suspension, tires, head gasket, timing belt, front axles...... is it worth rebuilding tranny before there are problems ?
If it's not broken, don't fix it. Or, fix it until it is broken. Since rebuilding a transmission is a very complicated process and takes hours to do correctly, many rebuilds fail very quickly because they are rushed. Unless you personally know someone that will take their time (expect to pay a premium) then a rebuild will likely fail on you too.
