Sat-go reciever purchased used.Have confirmed reviever/lcd and rg-179 cable work as have hooked up to my directv sat.The programming is not my subscription, appears to be previous owner in CT. I live in CO. Have been in contact w/Directv for setup confirmation, not a lot of expertise from rep. Never did ask for RID or card number, not sure if this matters. Numerous attempts to set up failed, have confirmed round dish single lnb and new zip (80503) w/ 164 azmith and 44 elev. as per directions. Have even pushed rest button, but didn't seem to affect any change. No registered response from any sat or transponder, if continue to set up end unit will cycle between searching for sat and downloading guide banners.D-tv rep says sat unit is steady state and w/no damage visible to unit- is working. Can moving unit across country cause it to get lost- like GPS?
