No signal from sub connected to NAD T760 in test mode
Energy Encore 8 Subwoofer connected to NAD T760 sub woofer input using single RCA to RCA interconnect cable. When the NAD is turned on I get a woomf from the subwoofer so the sub seems to be receiving signal but it does not operate in test mode nor in normal pro logic or ears. Cant think of what has changed in my set-up to create recent problem.
Using preset 1 with all speakers large and sub-woofer on. Tried preset 2 to no avail.
Any ideas.

Try using front pre out to the sub from the receiver. the crossover is in the sub anyway. If this works change your settings on the receiver and test again. If sub is still inop, could be an internal issue with the sub amp. Does your sub amp have an on/auto/off switch or light? check that as well. Hope this helps, if you need further assistance, send a reply and I'll help some more
Interesting that your main out is not functioning... You can use Tape to test just make sure "monitor" is on. The feedback at least lets you know your amp and sub are ok. You can use any product that has an output to test to make sure the sub is triggering correctly. Check your Pre-out settings on the receiver as well if possible, generally the front pre out is always on. I'm wishing I could be in front of it now as it's always easier that way! Interesting note: when you have headphones plugged in, sub-out is off. It also does not work in "test" mode. If it's connected to a TV; Get into the receiver OSD setup menu put a cd on w/some bass and check your setting, your adjustment is from -10 to +10. That's a big spread and may be the issue. If you don't have the manual,
