No signal. Power is on, cable functions well (tested on other computer). nevertheless, the screen does not work (any more) and shows signa " no signal" . What can have gone wrong with my screen which sofar always worked well?? Lex

The fact that you see the "No Signal" message indicates that the display is functioning properly. The problem is with the input section. Verify that you have the correct input selected. Other than that, the input board is the likely defective section. This is not uncommon and will require service. This is not likely to be a DIY repair if the input board is defective.
