No sound, in the bottom left corner, I have a speaker with a red cross y it, when I click on it it says no audio device installed, I have been unable to reinstall each and evey time there is an error

Check that you ahve the correct drivers installed. If not, install them.
A quick google check against sound drivers and the model of your PC should tell you which ones you need to download
