No sound on my speakers
I recently bought digitec speakers and connected to my computer. At first there was sound but another alarming sound more of a ringing desktop appeared and all over sudden the sound went. What could be the problem with my intex computer with mecury motherboard.

If I were you, the first thing I would check is to make sure that my new speakers were plugged into the correct jack (usually the green colour coded one).
Next in Control Panel /System/ Hardware and device manager, I would uninstall my sound driver from the "Sound, video and game controllers" list. Select the "Scan for Hardware changes" option from the Actions menu at the top of the page and follow the prompts from the installation Wizard.
If you still have no sound, you may need to update your sound driver. The Mercury download section can be found here. You'll need to know the model number of your motherboard in order to select the correct sound driver.
