No spark coming from the new coil
Parts replaced;Cap,rotor,plugs,wires,coil. Someone took the wires off the old coil and didn't put them back, the two thicker wires, I put them on the positive side of the coil., the two thinner wires I put on the negative side of the coil. There is No spark coming from the coil.

Ign, tach... go to the positive on coil, and distributor (points, condenser) wires go to negative on coil.
What are you working on? a shorted condenser wire or closed gap in points can cause no spark too.
