Hello, Being a person with some experience repairing Princeton Monitors... 776 so far. If you have not had volume from the monitor right out of the box It would appear the speaker connector was not install or fell off due to poor installation at the factory. Princeton Monitors have a lot of problems. when they work, they work well. They are known for their very bad capacitors in the inverterboards. If the unit runs but you have no green light and no picture Your Caps are toast. As for your speakers, remove the front bezzel and look for the twisted wires usually black and red with a small white connector. If you find it just danggling, the connector it should go into is on the right lower side of the monitor's screen. It's keyed so installing it only one way will make it work. Hope this helps.
