The truck starts fine then when you rev it up it makes a metal clanking noise.i was told it could be flex plate/fly wheel the truck is a1999 Yukon with 200k
This is possible with engine off through a round inspection hole on transmission bell housing you can see the flywheel with a flashlight . now have someone rotate the engine by hand as you watch the flywheel a slight back and forth on rotation of engine can produce the noise and seeing the flywheel lag in rotation can prove the failure.
