Noise in 2004 Bullet Electra
I can hear a consistent noise coming out of the engine. The noise is similar to that of a sewing machine being peddled and is bit soft at idle but increases on acceleration.
Authorized mechanics told that it's the cam problem n replaced it(cam spindles n sleeves), however, noise still persists.
Bike 's done 18K on the odo.
Please let me know your insights on this.

I have the same problem, I have been talking to a lot of mechanics, but they seem oblivious to the noise and say that its normal. Noone ever suggested me to look for the timing chain. Czaa, how do i check if the timing chain is ok or needs to be replaced??
Dont replace parts just because u get one opinion-mechanics r like doctors. I think ur timing chain is out of ajust or is worn-hows the oil level-purchase a repair manual or a pair of hiking shoes
