Nokia 2630 from Meteor network Ireland does not work with Rogers

I jsu got 2630 from Meteor network Ireland. Phone was unlock in Europe and when I got it here and put Rogers Sim card in, I can search through the names @ sim card but the phone cannot find any network in Canada, even if I go to manual network search... (I am trying to get the phone with Rogers sim card).
I tried to enter two unlock codes I got from certain internet calculators but they were wrong. Now, I am affraide if I use one more code and it does not work, I will lock so it can be unlocked only via PC...

The phone may not be picking up your network it could be a tri-band on 850mhz/1800/1900 or 900mhz/1800/1900mhz you will need to check the manual to see if it works with your simcard
