Not cooling Just purchased a used side by side commercial freezer. It seems like the digital temp gauge is jumping back and forth from different temps and it has been hooked up for about 3 hrs.and it is yet to start cooling. It has had a new compressor and seals put on it. Any advise why it is not cooling?

Make sure the compressor and all the fans are running. With the condenser at the top of the unit, you will be able to see the condenser fan and you should be able to hear and feel the compressor running.
Check for the evaporator coil frozen up and not allowing adequate airflow. If it is frozen up, you will need to have it checked out as to why.
Just because the compressor was replaced doesn't mean the freezer was fixed properly. Have it checked out just to be safe. But in the meantime, you can do the checks yourself to hopefully gain more understanding of what is going on.
