Hi there, in first replace or check USB cable( it may be have short circuit or is torn off.)If you use OS Windows98 need install driver, ifWindowsXP not install any driver, if you install driver in WindowsXP, removed it. For viewing pictures needed installBlaze Video Magic and/or Ulead Photo Express. Read owner's manual, page 40 4.2 Connecting to computer.
