Not Warming Up
I replaced the thermostat, the water pump is working, and I cant get it up to operating temp for the life of me. ive even asked my diesel teacher at school and he couldn't figure it out. please help me. because of the temp issue I have a lot of HC coming out of my exhaust.

I'd have to suspect something wrong with the thermostat. It may be opening too fast, or it may be opening too much. Try a Ford thermostat to be sure. The amount of the opening of the thermostat will control flow characteristics, so maybe yours is opening too much. Just a thought.
