notch and one without? They put in the info of the car and those two came up. Both cost $75 each. Basically we have to buy both in order to know which one it is. We are not allowed to return one of them, should it not be the key. What in the world is a notch key and why are there two sets? Can anyone help with this matter? We're lost here

The lock can come from many different vendors, this kind of issue is very common on all cars whom ever makes them, I would buy one set and try it, you have a 50% chance they will be correct, another thing to do is call other dealers and ask if they know which key is more common, give them the part numbers of both not the notch info.
Your best bet is to remove your passengers side door lock take it to your local LOCKSMITH and let them cut you a key should cost you around $15 dollars. It is really quite easy to remove the lock.
The answer to your question is the notch key has a stop on the shoulder and will only allow the key to go in so far, the other key is smooth like a toyota key with no stop
