Nothing happens when I push the power button on the front panel of NAD917 Preamp. Any idea why? Is there a way to reset the box?
Nothing happens when I push the power button on the front panel. It just stopped working. No front panel lights, no power-on relay clicks, nothing. Checked and changed all fuses. Still nothing. Any idea why? Is there a way to reset the box? I am looking at the service manual but nothing is obvious.

Probably a fuse in the unit. Unplug it and open it. If you see a blown fuse, take it out and look at the writing on the metal part. buy a fuse with the same power ratings.
Could be either the power switch or the transformer that has gone. You need to see if voltage is getting into the device!
