You are correct. Most are caused by a semi-conductor device. So the rectifier is a possibility. But also check devices with heat sinks on such as voltage regulators. Transistors and diodes and the transformer are easily checked with an Ohm meter. If it's faulty it will be just like you have touched the test probes together!

Sorry Luiz but your "english" doesn't make sense to me! If you mean a fuse has blown, but something has burned up, then it's likely that the fuse reacted to whatever burned. Replacing that should stop the fuse blowing. Otherwise any kind of fuse blowing indicates a short circuited part.
