Numark turntable records record AND sounds in the room
My new Numark TTUSB turntable records the record and the sounds in the room although there is no microphone attached anywhere to the system. I am downloading the tunes directly from the turntable to my iTunes library on my iMac G4 running 10.4.11 and using EZ Vinyl Converter software that came with the turntable.

The mic is in the computer somewhere, there will be a way to mute the microphone either in the vinyl software or in the system settings of the computer!
