Nuova Simonelli Mac 2000 - Boiler continues to fill up
Went to steam the milk and had no steam, knowing the problem is the boiler is probably full of water started to run water from the boiler via the water spout. Slowly steam came back. Turned espresso machine on/off to try and reset system but notice the boiler continues to fill up with water. Guessing a valve has build up or what? Where do I begin to look. Our water has 2-3 grains of hardness. Help!

I had the same problem of the boiler filling up all the way with water and the water was coming out of every hole in the machine. Turn the machine off, drain the boiler completely,
MAKE SURE VALVE #2 is CLOSED, this is the one under the drip pan all the way to the left. Turn on the water supply to the system and turn the system ON. The cup warmer on top will come on and stay on for anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes..... let it be,,, do not turn it OFF,, it will go off automatically. That should do it!
