The Input/Output or I/O error is usually a pretty bad error on any Disk or Flash drive! It looks that this I/O error might have corrupted your media player drive directory (commonly know as FAT table). Confirm the problem by trying to plug your device in a different USB port on your PC/Laptop: if you are still getting the I/O error, you can try to repair your player drive by using Open Windows Explorer -> Properties -> Tools -> Error-Checking facilities. If Error-Checking cannot repair your drive, then you will unfortunately have to re-FORMAT your device Flash drive and loose everything on that drive (hope you have a good backup on your PC/Laptop)!
