off button is pushed or the button on the display panel is pushed. I did try resetting the unit by disconnectin the power cord. It did not respond to that either. Is there any thing else I can try before I send it back to Marantz?

Blinking power lights are a factory setting to inform the customer there is an internal electronic fault. and the unit needs to be repaired by a service pro in 99% of cases the owner can do nothing to fix it.
