off. I never use these dials. Somehow, someone turned them and now I cannot manually turn my oven on. I feel really dumb. I'm sure it's a quick fix but as I mentioned, I've never used those dials
Hi, You are NOT DUMB. Believe me, It has happened to every person I know that has an oven with one of those timers. It has happened to me and I am trained as a professional technician. Why, it even says here I am a Guru. The day your problem first stumped me, I didn't feel like I was a Guru. There are several variations to those timers so I will try to cover all of the bases. If the clock has three dials, two small ones and 1 big one. Turn one of the the pointers of the two small dials to the same direction as the other. You will hear a clicking sound. Alternately push each one and then try the oven. On the Fridgidaire, if my memory serves me correctly, there is a small know that is for time bake. It has a spot on it opposite the Zero that should say "MAN" OR "MANUAL". The that timer pointer to that position. See if that works. Please let me know what happened. Best Regards, The dumb guru, Mark
