Unplugged the input plug from your pc, turn on the power on your speaker, set the volume at about 2 o'clock, touch the tip of the input plug with your bare finger( don't worry you will not be electrocuted, no dangerous voltage is present on these part) you should hear a hum, or better yet plug it on your I-Pod, if you don't hear a sound, chances are the chip inside is busted. Qualified technician required or have the whole unit replaced. hope this helps ;-)
