off switch on a Shure PG48 Microphone
The XLR connector at the base of the mic pulled out and the wires separated from the on/off switch. I would have no problem soldering it again, but I can't seem to get the on/off switch out. It sits inside the body with screws that seem unreachable. Any idea how to get that switch out?

Hi, don't know if you nice people are still out there.
I'm stuck with the same Sure PG48 problem. I released the screws holding the power switch, but now can't get the head off, which is probably also connected to the switch. Any idea how?
First, remove the thin plastic cover that surrounds the switch. Pop off the plastic switch acuator. Once you remove the thin plastic cover, it will expose screws.
