off swithc stopped working
My young daughter was switching the on/off swith off & on very rapidly & then it stopped working; took cover off & made sure it was still plugged in properly-still will not turn on; local repair shop said, when told problem on phone, that the engine was burnt up & to throw it away.Is this likely, or should I at least try replacing the switch?

If you feel crafty and have a piece of electric cable you can ty bypassing the switch and see if the motor is really dead. You really cannot diagnose that over the phone with out checking the power cord and switch first. SO i would say that giving it a try would be all you can do. Or if you have a volt meter you can check it too.
