Usally low oil level, low oil pressure, or possibly a defective sending unit. You may want to hook up an oil pressure "wet" gauge to check the actual oil pressure.
Well you could have a few different problems. 1. Check your oil level with engine off should be full. 2. You could have a weak oil pump in motor check with a proper guage and get manufactures recomendation on psi rating. 3. If questions 1 and 2 check out okay you could have a faulty oil pressure indicator switch so just replace.
