ok button and it makes it impossible to use. I have tried software updates hoping that it is a software problem but i cant complete the update because the button is constantly pushed. I have had this problem before but only when the phone was charging but now it does it all the time
Many people have reported this problem. It seems like pressing on the buttons too hard near the menu button, causes the touchpad to short. So, if the firmware update doesn't work for you, my recommendation would be to call Sony Ericsson for a replacement phone or at least for them to replace your touchpad.

I have done some research on your problem. It seems like the K850 has a record of having the touchpads fail.
Have you tried updating the firmware on the phone via SEUS?
