Ok i have a bryant electric furnace... Older... We ran all new power lines fan kicks on no heat... We found one of the fan relays were melted so we replaced it... Still no heat... Just paid someone to come look they said that it was cause w3 and w2 need to be jumped together.... And if we put the cover on it will properly heat up.... Well it's still blowing cold air
i knew the blower didn't create the heat.. We replaced the fan relay... because the element won't heat up with a relay bad... the fan comes on and the elements are fine.. what else could i test for iti knew the blower didn't create the heat.. If the blower is working & the fan on the outside unit is running continuously, then make sure that the water line to inside unit is warm & that you're getting good airflow at the registers. Try turning on emergency heat at thermostat. If nothing changes, then check for a wire attached to W2. Place a small jumper wire to E. The emergency heat will not work unless you do.If the blower is working & the fan on the outside unit is running continuously, then make sure that the water line to inside unit is warm & that you're getting good airflow at the registers. Check the thermostat setting. It could be set to fan only.
