Ok i have a tough one for ya i have a 150cc chineese scooter 4 stroke if you can get this question i applaud you. ok here it is im in california so it has some of that california emmisions **** on it there is a pipe that comes from the bottom of the engine by the valve cover it had a hose on it that went from it to the back of the scooter a month or so ago that hose blew from the execssive heat from the pipe i changed the hose when the hose is not on there it sounds like a chopper the new hose lasted about 1 month more and blew again then i replaced it agian and the heat coming from the engine through the hole got hot it blew the hose in 10 min and now every hose i put on there it blows it almost immeditley from the heat, when the hose is off it sounds like a chopper but runs strong, i put copper tubing on there instead of a rubber hose and it works but the engine seens to hestitate a bit and not as much power i was test running it and the copper pipe fell off and it sounded like a chopper but wow all the power was back ran great put copper tubing back on ran ok had power loss and ideas wtf is going on?
That is an EGR valve return line to the intake. There should be some kind of valve on it to regulate the unit. IF there is no valve then you are going to have to use something like the copper that you had on it. With an EGR valve sticking open you are going to lose some power when you direct it back to the intake 100 percent of the time.
This is not something that you can adjust. If the bike is under warranty, take it in for service. This is not something that you can adjust. If the bike is under warranty, take it in for service.
This is some sort of emissions deverter valve,or it was,it was a special hose, with a deverter valve made in it,and it will have to be ordered from the manufacturer
The valve is not there,it was made into the hose, that is not there anymore,if it is under warrantee, take it to the dealer, and get it fixed,The valve is not there,it was made into the hose, that is not there anymore,if it is under warrantee, take it to the dealer, and get it fixed,
You need to check the valve adjustment on that engine, and make sure your piston rings are good....Sounds like you are getting too much blow by from worn rings or a worn cylnder. You have what's know as a GY6 clone engine....very popular...we rebuild these and service them every week of the year. What your scootter is doing is very indicative of a blow by problem

Hello. Definitely take it back since it is under warranty. Do not work on it. Working on it will void the warranty. Joe
