I have put on a new air filter, spark plug, new gas line and gas line filter. I have also removed the old gas from winter and added new gas.

I have a 8 hp troy bilt i bought used it had been sitting about 3 yrs now it wont start. its not getting gas to the plug it is getting gas to the carb any suggestions.
Clean the carb and if this machine was kept outside all winter make sure no water in tank. I realize you stated that you removed old gas but how it was removed is the key. Try the carb thing first though.
