Olevia tv, no power
My set went off twice on Friday,and Sat. morning it wouldn't come on at all. Blue light goes out as usual, but black screen and no sound. Set is less than two years old. Cable repairman came out and sait it was the tv.

This the common problem for Olevia TV, open up the back cover, locate the power supply board, look for the electolytic capacitors top that is slightly domed, replace them, they usually 1 or 4 that is bad, buy your replacement's at Radio Shack
worked like a charm!! Cost us $1.49 plus the cost $11.00 for the cost of a soldering tool set also bought at Radio Shack. Thanks for posting. Saved us big bucks!!
