One of the wires that connect to the motor is fried on my GE dryer. Do I need to replace the motor?
It looks like the power wire from the wall. The heat stopped working on the dryer and I've checked continuity on everything. My best guess is the motor needs replaced even though it was still running, just no heat. model gtdp490ed5ws

The heating element is faulty , I don't know if parts are available,some times repairs are worth more than a new unit please check.
