Opened pool, filter and pump working fine, flow is good. Pilot light is on and can not fire up heater when switch is on and themostat up.(Jandy Lite 2 heater usuing natural gas)

I have a few possibilities, since the pilot light is on that i will list and their fixes keep in mind that the first one is simple, it makes me laugh when people ask me is it plugged in. Here it goes.
- Is Gas Valve in the "ON" position. The fix is to turn it to the on position. Easy I know, but I've made that kinda mind lapse before.
- Possible Air in gas line. The fix is to Cycle the ignition sequence (turn on/off) until air is out of the Gas line. Listen closely there should be an audible click if not. Then move on to the next possible scenario.
- Gas valve failed. If the Gas valve has power to it and you cannot hear an audible clicking noise then you have a failure in the gas valve. The fix is to replace the gas valve part# R0317100 for NAT Gas.
It is at this point that depending on your abilities and proper testing equipment, volt meter, you may need to call a service technician.
