I'm trying to figure out how to get into a Dirt Devil Centrixx V6 Canister cleaner that suddenly cut out and went dead in use. The fault may be the connection of the power cord in the cord spooler that got damaged when it was pulled out too far.
I've removed all the screws that are visible and one at the back under the tube support bracket that isn't, but the top cover doesn't feel any freer.
Are there any other hidden screws - like behind the wheels? If so, how do you get the wheels off? I've taken the trim disks off the wheels, but nothing shows underneath. Are there screws under the cord release or power buttons? Or is it just glued together?
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
