Opti-UPS 1400ES UPS unit - Beeping 14 Times, stops, Beeps Again
Opti-UPS 1400ES PowerES (Model SE-E1X0) UPS unit. Beeps 14 times (and all LEDS flash), pauses a second, then beeps 14 times again, and so on and on.
The weak battery alarm sounded last week - I removed it from use. Today when I powered it on, the UPS was OK for 1 minute then the weak battery sounded. When I pushed the off button it didn't power off but just kept beeping - have to unplug power to it to silence the alarm. Anyone know what the 14 beeps mean? It isn't covered in the troubleshooting guide. Don't want to go to the expense of replacing the battery if the circuitboard is flaky.
