Optiquest q71, display settings tied to user profile
I had a resolution issue, and I thought I fixed it. However, when it boots up I have a black screen. I hear the Windows startup tune, but no visual effects? Are my display settings tied to my user profile and if it auto login using my user profile, is there a way I can bypass and create a new profile to fix?

Boot into safe mode ...not sure what windows version you have but Google boot with safe mode with windows version windows 10, 7 XP etc
You should see the bios before windows loads. If it turns black when windows is loading bad DIsplay settings or driver.
