The manufacturer parts manual indicates the following information:
The motor brush caps are available from Pride: PLSINDV1059 Motor brush cap (Reliance 0003-0035) retail $2.68 The brushes are: DRVBRSH1000 Motor brush Jazzy (Reliance 0002-6957) retail $36.31
The guys in tech service at Pride (800-800-8586) are always a good resource for the information you may need. If you are exceptionally nice to them they will drop a new brush cap in the mail for you for free. You can also check with Reliance Motors at their website for information and cross reference for other brushes available based on the Reliance part numbers above. A good local motor rebuild shop can recommend a comparable (more durable) brush based on the specs. I think you may be disappointed with the pricing of the more durable brushes. You can try on-line at: http://www.graphitestore.com/items_list.asp/action/prod/prd_id/255/cat_id/37 Hope this helps.
It appears that the motors are made by Rockwell/Reliance with a right part # 675-056-957 and the left part #675-057-958 The best resource I have found is a company called National Power chair.
