The three cables I bought off the shelf at Best Buy and Micro Center and the two that come with my Linksys router and my son-in-law's DLink router give a disconnected error.

My ISP Integra said we need a special cable because their connection is bridged ... whatever that means.

What's the difference? The plug and wire? What do I ask for at the store? Which store, Radio Shack?
