Oregon Scientific WMR86A wind sensor does not communicate to the base station. It is a new device, first time assembled
It is a new device, first time assembled. When I try to verify communication to the base station, following the instructions given in the User Manual, I obtain no response. Other sensors responded OK.

I believe the wind sensor is a rotating cuff that has a wire which needs to input into the main reader or the wifi unit.if it's the wifi unit you need to check the receiver is picking up the signal.if it's the main readout then check the connection.if it is wireless, you may find a switch on the transmitter to change channel.this may fix the problem, especially if the receiver is near other wireless or bluetooth equipment.
