Oregon Trail 5th Edition installation fails at 13% with a "Severe" pop-up message that says: Cannot Create Directory Current *.* I am running the installation with the administrator account on Windows XP with 2.8 GHz processor and 504 MB of RAM with 24 GB of free disk space. Any ideas?

I found the answer to this problem. The problem is the install tries to write to files in the c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents directory. For some reason, that directory had lost the ownership. Try searching for "my documents access denied". For XP home, I had to boot in safe mode, then take ownership of the directory. Once I did this, the install could write to the directory and it installed!
I think that a specific problem with Broderbun, see if they have a place to write. There is a problem running version 5, and a fix is posted. But nothing posted on install problems.
