Our oil tank ran out of oil. We just had it
We have a Beckett by Honeywell oil burning furnace. I am not sure what the model number is on it. Our oil tank just ran out of oil. We just had it filled but I am not sure how to get the furnace running again. Their is a motor on the front of the furnace and there is a green light flashing on it with a red button underneath it. I pushed the red button and after a few seconds it sounds like the motor runs for about 15 or 20 seconds and turns off. While it is running, the blinking green light turns off. Is their a pilot light that I need to light or what do I need to do to get the furnace running again? Pleas help!!

On the burner unit near where the inlet line enters the unit you will find a little bleeder screw It should require a small 1/4 or 5/16" wrench to open it DO NOT remove it just open it a full turn or 2
Fuel and air will come out of the top of this fitting Once no more air comes out close the bleeder, clean up any spilled fuel and restart the furnace
You may have to do this a couple of times to get all the air out of your lines
