Our problem with the machine is every once and awhile the signal on the upper left side of machine that looks like a lightblub flashes and the machine does'nt work. It will stay on but not make coffee. Do it just need to be flushed out or is it a bigger problem

When the light flashes it indicates that the 130 deg themostat is open, machine too hot, however this does not prevent the machine from making coffee. Does the pump turn on? Do you hear a vibrating noise? Can you get water or steam, if so, the pump or the 3way valve are defective. Also, if after inserting the capsule and making a selection nothing happens, replace the micro switch. Good luck
