Are you sure it is RPE freezing and not the computer itself. Many things can cause what you are talking about. If you have a touch screen, it could be locking up. If you have a keyboard attached, next time it freezes, hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys and press Delete. This should let you start Task Manager. On the Applications tab, see if any programs are listed as Not Responding. If none are, click the Processes tab. Find the file called CRE2004.exe, highlight it, then click End Process. Click YES to the warning message. This should shutdown RPE and unfreeze computer if RPE is causing freeze up. If you don't have a keyboard attached, try to add one temporarily to resolve this problem.
