Our verifone omni 3750 credit card terminal started making a beeping sound and would not accept input. Sometimes you can unplug it and then it will work fine or you can press many different keys at the same time and this will stop the beeping. Our challenge is if it is acting up at closing we can't get a batch done. It almost seem it has key jamed but none appear to be. Any ideas?

Depending on the type of business you are, the terminal can get pretty dirty on the inside and not look it on the outside. I had a florist contact me about similar issues with his terminal and after a good cleaning of the contact points under the pin pad the Omni worked fine.
