Maybe someone who has fixed an identical issue can tell you. I have not, but the printer is attempting to calibrate itself and not having any success. It is the same as an HDD when it seeks track 0 on startup. A sensor might be bad or dirty, or the connection to it is bad or corroded, or the circuitry supporting it is bad. I would turn printer off and unplug it. Then manually move carriage away from the stop and power up again. Carriage should move to end and maybe bounce one. If it continues, it will need some disassembly and serious troubleshooting.Maybe someone who has fixed an identical issue can tell you. Sounds like the head carriage is stuck and the belt is making the noise trying to move it
Is there a way for me to fix it?https://bit.ly/2k022Ek
