I tried to turn it off and on again, nothing. If I insist on the paddle, it feels like the motor could burn or something. It does not move manually either.
Sounds like a gear jam. Depending on the part that is stuck, you may have to sacrifice a piece of your quilt, and cut the affected part off so the rest can be removed. If that does not work, take machine and attached quilt piece into a local sewing machine repair shop,band let them remove it.
