Oven door does not seal
I have had the Heartland metro 3525SS for eight years. Over time the door of the oven starts to remain ajar and heat escapes. We had the springs and the gasket changed two years ago, but over time it started to remain ajar again and now you can see a 3/8 inch gap and the signs of heat escaping on blackened cabinet doors next to the oven. There is no technician in town that works with Heartland anymore. IT was suggested to me that I should replace both the springs and the receivers. I ordered the parts from Heartland and got them. Then I took the door apart, but the springs are attached to the door with metal rivets, and I am not sure that I am up to the task of finding the right rivets, removing the old ones and installing the new ones. I don't even know what tools I would need for that.
