Hello! Without knowing the model number of your Viking I can not say for certain that there is a reset button. However I've never seen one that does. If there is, it will be located at the back of the range near the 240vac plug. Electric ranges are essentially the same when it comes to AC input. 240vac operates the heating elements and 120vac takes care of everything else...clock, lights etc. Not all ranges run off of one breaker; There might be a separate breaker for 120vac. Check your main service panel.
First I'm going to assume that you have reset the main breaker. If so did the breaker hold? If not unplug the range and reset the breaker. If the breaker pops without the range plugged in then the breaker itself is defective. It should be a 40 amp. breaker.
If the breaker pops with the range plugged in and all switches on the range are off, then the fault is internal to the range. Unplug the range. If you have access to a multimeter, set it on the X10 ohm scale and measure, at the plug, from the ground tab to each of the two other tabs. If you read any resistance, one or both sides of the 240vac are shorted to ground. Unless you are skilled in this type of repair; Stop and call a qualified service technician.

Hello! Let me ask you; With oven plugged in, and all of it's switches off...Does the breaker trip or does it hold?
I need to isolate trouble to the breaker or the range.
Do you have a meter or a test lamp to see if power is at the outlet when breaker is on?
Do you have access to a multimeter or a test lamp? You can purchase a test lamp at a drug or (if open) a home improvement store. They are an inexpensive item, that you'll find very useful around the home. If you can somehow acquire one; Unplug range, set breaker on and check for power at the outlet.
Lastly, when you turn the breaker on and off do you hear a solid click? If the breaker switch feels loose and floppy it is defective; a less than $20 fix.
