Overclocking failure!!! my computer is a 945p-a v3 dual core 3.0G well i had used the overclock feature in the bios. I had been using the computer since for like 3 months a game i was playing crashed one day and the computer wouldnt start up. I waited like 5 minutes and started it up again and the overclock function failed and i decided to look at the temperature and it said 185 degrees fern height and it started up normaly after i turned off the overclock function .... im on it now could i have done some damage?

Pull your cooler off the processor and clean off the thermal paste and reapply. Seriously think about putting some bucks into a better way of cooling that monster if you are going to be overclocking. 185 degrees is pretty warm, you probably just baked the thermal paste, replacing it will get the cooling effects back in place.
