They are vent hose. Run them down and together so they clear your bike by about one inch. They will spill gas out when if any of your float valve gets stuck to prevent overflow from going into your intake and they also are long enough to not spill any gas on your swing arm bearings and clear your hot exhaust.
The fuel control valve on the fuel tank must be defective on the gas tank, it is designed to shut off when the engine vacuum signal is not present, I susspect yours is stcuk on, this causes the carb to overfill and run out the tube.
